Dustin A. Garrison

As an experienced attorney, Dustin specializes in the defense of criminal cases and domestic and personal injury matters for a large clientele base.  He has been successful in both prosecution and defense of cases before juries and judges. He is licensed by the Supreme Court and US District Court; District of Nebraska.

Dustin graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law in July of 2007, with a Juris Doctorate.  During his time there, he served as the Vice-President of the Criminal Law Association, a student member of the American Bar Association, and participated in moot court. He also served as a law clerk for the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office under the purview of Robert Ravitz from August of 2005 until December of 2006.  He was assigned as a law clerk to the felony division in the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office, assisting in defense of cases ranging from felony driving under the influence to homicide and assisted in the defense of death penalty cases. 

Upon graduation from law school, Dustin became a partner in the firm of Koenig/Garrison Law Firm in Beatrice, Nebraska.  In 2009, Dustin opened his own firm. 

Dustin graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts; with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in English.  While a student at UNL, he was a member of Theta Xi Fraternity, holding the office of Philanthropy Chairman.  He was also a charter member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity at UNL.

During his college career, Dustin was employed in the legal profession for Koenig Law Firm.  He was given the opportunity to work on four death penalty cases on the state and federal appellate levels.  In response to that opportunity, Dustin was charged with filing legal documents in all state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He was also privileged to work with many high-profile lawyers in defense of death penalty clients.

During his high school career, Dustin was active in athletics, the mock trial team, German Club, Thespians, and Journalism.  He was an Honorable Mention All-State selection in football in 1994. He also claimed the state championship in the 134-pound division of the Nebraska State Wrestling Tournament in 1995, and was a state medalist in wrestling all four years of high school. To date, he still maintains many records in the storied Tri County High School wrestling program.


Dustin lives in Beatrice, Nebraska, with his son, Dre. He enjoys athletics, spending time with family and friends, and many other activities.  Dustin is actively involved in golf, football, baseball/softball, wrestling, and hunting.  Dustin is also extensively involved in motorsports in Beatrice and other race tracks; sponsoring several race cars at Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska.
